I have a Samsung a790 with Verizon service. In certain areas (e.g., Morristown, TN; Cincinatti, OH) when I dial a number with 4 bar signal strength, after a few seconds the signal strength progressively drops to 0 bars and I get the notice "signal faded, call was lost". After ending that call the signal strength goes back to 4 bars. I have updated my programming and roaming. I have shut it down and removed the battery. I have this problem but others standing next to me (on Verizon) have no problems connecting.
