I have a Sanyo 5.0 camera. help please.?

I got this camera a while ago and have since lost the book on it.

I am trying to get it to take 'faster' pictures. No matter what I do, even if i stand there and the thing I am taking a picture of stands perfectly still, no matter what, it still comes out fuzzy.

It is as if there is a long pause after I click the picture button..

You can adjust the different lighting for up close , indoors , outside , low light etc. by choosing the different icons on the camera that look light the sun , moon etc. but can't change the shutter speed.
