sounds like you have mineral buildup...try using white vinegar and distilled water in the machine to clean it out (about 1:1 ratio.)  that should dislodge the offending mineral gunk clogging the holes.  then rinse with distilled water, and only use distilled water to steam.

yes yes had this happen, bought another, did same thing, bought a different brand and they told me to spray wd-40 in there (where it comes out of steamer,) and to take paper clip and clean it out.I was hoping that wasn't all for no reason.hope that it helps you out.
