I have a Sd card from my camera that I would like to download the pictures onto my windows vista computer. I?

Get an SD card reader and plug the card in. A window will pop-up asking if you want to import the pictures. If that doesn't happen, it will ask if you want to view the files or you can open it through my computer. Just copy or move them to wherever you want them. (Mine did the automatic import)

Well you have a few options:

First a lot of the newer computers have multi card readers built right into them. If you have that just plug the card into the appropriate slot and your all set.

Or if you have the cable that came with your camera, then just plug the camera into the cable and then into the computer.

or you can buy a card reader or a thumb drive (is what I have) that you can plug the card into and the computer will treat it as an extra hard drive..

In any of these cases just cut and paste the files you want to the store them in the computer.
