I have a Sherwood Minimus octo as a backup regulator and its leaking a lot, what should i do besides the shop?

Shop as in taking it to a shop to get fixed

  1. I wouldn't even chance it.  Take it to the shop, and have it adjusted.  Sounds like it needs to be adjusted so the incoming pressure won't open it.


  2. Free flow? In to the shop to have the cracking pressure adjusted or that bit of sand removed from the valve seat.

    Leaking as in water leaking in? Have a look at your mouthpiece. That silicone can tear and it's something you can replace yourself in under a minute.
