He's 25, married with 3 small children. He's not asking for a handout, just an opportunity to work and prove himself. If the Lord can forgive our mistakes, why can't our fellow man follow His example?

  2. It depends on what your son were convicted of I'm sure. A lot of places will ask about convictions within 5 years or 10 years. Unfortunately, they almost ALWAYS do background checks. Your son can start at the bottom level and work your way up. Have your son tried working at a fast food restaurant? If absolutely nothing works out, another alternative your son have is to go into business for yourself. Maybe you and a family member can go into it together doing something you really enjoy. Good luck to you. I wish you all the best! :)

  3. I don't know were you are but my son is 29 be clean ,off probation, for over 5 yrs. now .He did 4months for drugs. We are in MO. the only work he has been able to find is pizza places or a bouncer at a bar. No Home Depot ,grocery store chain or WalMart , Kmart. No, McDonald's etc Landscaping jobs or in the construction trade like labor they don't care what you've done. I wish him good  luck. Like I said labor trade or grass cutting. Labor pays better if can get in a union. They do there time, stay clean and all my son hears is you have to be clean for seven yr. So much for do you time and then get back into life so you can stay out !! I am still having to help him and he doesn't have a wife or kids . Good luck to you too it is hard on us single mothers ,TOO !!
