I have a Sony KDL 46XBR2 - what type of connections do I need for my cable box?

This is what I have:

Sony KDL 46XBR2

HD/DVR box from Comcast

I'm going to purchase:

Blue Ray DVD - 6 months from now

Bose System - 8 months from now

Please help.....

**I have a Comcast package that consists of HD channels and premium channels.

My question to you is this:

Since there are so many different boxes from Comcast and so many different cables. I'm completely lost and no one can help me.

1. What type of box do I need from Comcast?

2. What type of connections do I need just to only install my Comcast box to my TV? I've heard of HDMI - is that the only cable I need?

3. When I purchase the Bose system and Blue Ray. What cables do I need then? Should I just wait until then?

4. I'm just lost

- If you want the best , the only cable you have to use is HDMI.Pay attention to AV Receiver ( Bose system ) , it must has HDMI port too.It sounds you already had HD cable box from Comcast.
