I just want the best sound possible, but I don't know where to begin. Should I buy optical audio cables (Toslink)? Would they run from my Blu-ray to the Sony Surround box or from the TV to the Sony Surround Box? Or both? I just have the expanded basic cable package, so no "digital package" yet. I watch mostly the local networks, which I get in HD over an antenna. Would optical audio improve my TV sound or should I just worry about the Blu-ray sound?

  1. no. the hdmi cable will net yu the best picture and sound.

  2. I Agree. The HDMI gets you a hi-def pic, and good sound, so you dont need that other cable unless you do for some reason....
