I have a Star of Persia flower and it is dying on me. What can I do to save it?

It was doing good a few days ago and now it it looks dry and crusty .Can it be from over watering or too much sun . I live in colorado

    What is your growing zone?

    How do the leaves look?

    - are they yellow?

    - are they dropping?

    - are they sticky?

    - do they have spots on them?

    - have you fertilized?

    Is it just the flower that's dying?

    How old is the plant?

    How long did the flower live?
