I have a Synergy Sub-10 Subwoofer and a denon avr-1708 what cable do i need to connect the sub to the denon?

  1. On the back of your receiver there will be a single RCA plug for "subwoofer out".  Simply find the appropriate length RCA cable and plug the other end into either the red or white RCA plug on the sub.  You could also get a specialized subwoofer cable that has a single RCA plug on one end and a "Y" plug on the subwoofer end (a "Y" adapter will accomplish the same thing)  so you can use both the red and white plug on the sub.  This will give you more input power to the sub and it will appear louder for any given setting, but will not give you any more max output than a single cable.
