plz check da date of manufacture of da hard drive.....if u have brougt it in da last 3 yrs u would probably get a replacement...also if u wnt 2 see da prices of new hard drive check... pricguru.in it would give u a good idea!!

may be starts from 2000 Rs/- for new hard disc.u can get seconds also but its not safe

Before making mind to change hard disk,make sure that the old one is working properly or not.Check the jumper of hard disk because sometimes that also cause improper functionality.Make sure your hard disk is getting power from smps by checking its power cable.

If your hard disk is under warranty then go for replacement to specific service center and if not then new hard disk will cost on how much storage capacity you need.

250gb is coming for approx 3000.
