  1. you just need prcatice. and it will get so much easier and more comfortable the more you use them.

tip: if you can still feel the tampon inside you, its not in far enough and you may need to push it up further.

well done for trying (most people are too scared). they are fab!

    you'll get used to it!

    x*x

  2. You must of put it in wrong or something cuz its not suppose to be uncomfortable.

  3. You might not be putting it in far enough if you can still feel it there.

Also try a smaller tampon (mayb for lighter flow)

  4. If its uncomfortable or you can feel it, its either not in all the way, or its not in correctly. If you're okay with it like that, you can leave it, but otherwise take it out and try again with a new one. eventually you'll get it, it just takes practice.... :)

  5. Well what's uncomfortable for you? Do you mean you can feel it a bit when it rides down? Did you use one with an applicator, cause if not, it might just not be high enough. If you did use an applicator, you should barely be able to feel it.

To be quite honest, and I'm not trying to be an advertiser here, it's safer (much much safer in fact, if you see the TSS warnings on the tampons) to use a menstrual cup. There are rubber and/or silicone ones. They look big but you get used to them and can't feel them. They will also save you tons of money (a box of tampons is what, $5-6? and you need one every month... a cup is about $20-30 and it's good for at least a year).

Not to mention tampons dry you out and upset the delicate pH balance in your v****a.

If you're set on tampons, make sure they have an applicator and if it's still uncomfortable, then decide... I have a friend who never got used to tampons so she uses pads. I just find pads to be so outdated. Why wear a diaper if you don't have to? ;)

  6. It's going to feel weird at first no matter what. But, you will eventually get used to it and not even know it's there...promise. Make sure it's not sticking out at all once you put it in. If you can feel the end on the outside then you probably haven't put it in far enough. Don't be afraid to put it in a little farther...it won't hurt anything, it just might feel weird to do. But, don't worry you should get used to it =)

  7. If you put the tampon in all the way you shouldnt be able to feel it at all.

  8. No, if it's uncomfortable or painful then it's in incorrectly or not far enough.  Keep trying.  It takes some practice to get it right the first time.

  9. It does feel odd at first and if your are not sexually active it can be a little painful when you first insert it. If it feels painful all the time or you have a lot of pressure or rubbing sensation you could have inserted it wrong. Usually you won't even be able to tell that they are in there. This might take awhile to over the odd feeling. As long as your not having any of the other problems then the more you use them the more comfortable you will get with them.
