  1. You pray hard so lord gives good Babu (with brain) to look at your application.

    It seems complicated case, because if you are US citizen with expired passport and obviously no visa (you cant have visa on expired passport), you are an illegal immigrant.

    I suggest you go to passport authority and see the high level officals themselves instead of getting tossed here and there, and take advice from him.

  2. Go to foreigners registration office for guidance

  3. As your name suggest you are Indian by origin,i.e. either you are born to Indian Parents or grand parents or great grand parents was born in an permanently resident in India as defined in the Government of India Act, 1935 or married to Indian Citizen or at any time held an Indian Passport, in any of these cases you can apply for Person Of Indian/PIO Card on the basis of which you need not apply for Visa for your continuous stay in India. This 15 years validity PIO card (renewable) gives you right to stay, work,buy property & do any other activity in India but not to vote in any legisative Election or get employment with government or governmental orginisation. For renewing your US passport contact US Embassy In New Delhi. Edit:- One thing I don't understand that if you already have OCI i.e. an Overseas Citizenship of India with you as stated in your previous yahoo question what for you require the Indian visa for your stay? The OCI itself shall be entitled you to following benefits:

    (i) Multiple entry, multi-purpose life long visa to visit India;

    (ii) Exemption from reporting to Police authorities for any length of stay in India; and

    (iii) Parity with NRIs in financial, economic and educational fields, except in the

    acquisition of agricultural or plantation properties.

  4. You better consult in the immigration office regarding this who will be in a position to solve your problem

  5. u need to visit indian embassy..u will get all information there...good luck!!
