I have aVGA to 3 RCA component video cable but I can't see my computer on the tv screen, do I need to change my settings on my computer? I need help please send me a link that shows me how to change my computer settings. Thanks guys!

  1. Yes. Right click anywhere on your desktop where there isn't an icon, go to properties, go to the advanced tab, you will see a rectangle with a 1 in it, and a rectangle with a 2 in it, the one with a 2 in it is probably dim right now. Right click on the one with a 2 in it, and click "attached". You may have to adjust the resolution for your TV, and possibly the refresh rate. If the output looks wrong, make sure you have the latest drivers for your videocard by going to your videocard manufacturer's site, and google "how to configure an HDTV as a second display" and it should tell you all about the individual settings. It may work right away without changing any settings, but you have to tell your computer to enable the output for it. Hope this helps, good luck.
