  1. Are you losing your Internet connection, or just the Vonage VoIP connection?

If you are losing Internet, then obviously you will lose Vonage connection too.  You will have to monitor your Internet connection to verify.  If it continues to drop, contact your ISP for help.

But, if your Internet connection remains good and you are just losing Vonage, then that appears to me as a system configuration issue.

In this case you may have no option but to contact Vonage support.

It is possible they may need to "re-provision" your VoIP ATA configuration settings.  The symptoms you describe are often VoIP or Router settings that are causing you to lose "registration" with the VoIP server.  Unless you know how to check and modify Router port forwarding, etc, and VoIP ATA settings (which Vonage may not allow you to change anyway), then you will need Vonage support to assist you.

If you are using a cordless phone and your Internet is also wireless, there may be device RFI interference issues.  Test with a corded telephone only (not cordless) and see if that helps the situation.  Put as much distance between wireless devices and cordless phones as possible to minimize RFI issues.
