I have a WEP secured wireless broadband .Of late it suddenely dissconnects and when i try to connect again?

when i open the available wireless network connections to find my listing and connect i suddeleny find the name of my connection - UNSECURED! - then i try to refresh again and again - then it appears secured! it's been happening many times of late - why does it show unsecured when actually it is secured ? does this mean someone is trying to hack in to my connection or something? any advise,solutions,tips is greatly appreciated.

See the router manual if you need help assigning it a different channel.

It will tell you a bit about WEP "security" :) Consider WPA2!

Try changing the channel of the wireless.  Sounds like interference.  Go at least two from where it is set.  I normally use 11.
