The soap dispenser inside, stopped working a few months after the guarantee expired and the technician told me how long after starting the machine on setting number 2, to wait before opening the door and throwing the soap in. I moved and have had the dishwasher in storage for 5 years and have now forgotten what he said. I can hear when water pours in and also the distinctive noise of the water draining out, and I think he told me to do it after either the first lot of water poured in .... OR, WAS IT THE SECOND LOT? Hope someone can help, thanks. Also it leaks a bit from the back after I turn it on.

  1. It would be after the first cycle(prewash) if the cup won't pop open to add soap for the WASH cycle you would need to do it at that point. Aren't you about ready for a new one??
