  1. Neither one...get WebRoot Spysweeper w/anti-virus....it's cheaper and 100 percent better !!

  2. I would say norton is better but it is still really bad.

  3. There is a joke on the new version of Norton.

The joke is like this "Norton is the most effective antivirus because it suck away all the system memory from other applications and disable them. No applications and viruses can run as a result. Therefore your system are always free from viruses. However, the only application you can run on your Windows is Norton."

Most malwares are designed to attack popular

antivirus products (like Symantec, McAfee or Norton), but since free anti-virus product is much less used, it's capable of fighting the viruses when industry leaders fail.

Avast Home Edition version 4.8 is an effective anti-virus program.

You can do a boot time scan remove every single virus on your PC. Even those viruses that hide inside the system restore folder.

    Free for personal use.

    Avast Anti-virus installation

  4. Neither one because most of the "bad guys" know how to get around those two programs!!!

    I use this one::

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

It removed some very nasty things off my computer!!

  5. MCAFEE

  6. Definately McAfee. McAfee is really user friendly and has way better protection than Norton. I had 2 viruses when I had tested Norton, but I haven't got a virus yet with McAfee. Plus McAfee has the Site-Advisor that tells you what sites are good and bad unlike Norton. McAfee is really good about updates also and is system resource friendly (which means it doesn't slow your computer down). So McAfee.

  7. Actually, right now ESET total security suite is able to remove more viruses than Norton, McAfee, and AVG.

    It doesn't hog resources either.

If you are on a very tight budget use AVG Home edition. It's free.

Avira also places very well recently, though I have not tried that product personally.

  8. C NONE OF THE ABOVE

  9. NEITHER...REMOVE THEM....

  10. Neither, they both stink.  Try AVG free, Avast, or NOD32

  11. AVG

  12. I have windows Xp 2 and I use McAfee, I have been using McAfee for 2 years now  without a problem. I would say if you have 2 choose one, go with McAfee.
