I have a acer aspire 5100 and there is a crack on the screen, a friend of mine gave me a 15.4" screen from another acer (can't remember which model?) but the plugs you connect them up with wont fit my new acer...so my question is there a product code i can take from both screens, and quote it to a pc shop so they can order me the correct connections?.I have tried to connet the new one by taking my old cable off the original screen and connect it to the second hand one, but the screen is dark....my friend told me that the unit under the screen will need swapping...I think it's called the inverter??Can you help???
