I have a african cichlid about 3/4 of a inch .not sure of what it is but can i feed it blood worms ?

like jon said you don't know if it's a herbivore or not, my herbivores will eat bloodworms but i don't feed it to them because it's not good for them. they can get malawi bloat, because there mostly algae grazers , feed them spirula flakes and post a pic.

It's not bad for them at all. Go ahead I'm sure they'll love it.

Feed it blood worms! He will eat them, in fact he may love you for them. He will also enjoy guppy fry at that size. As he gets older try feeder goldfish!

It very well may be an inappropriate diet for your fish, which is one of the very reasons why it's important to know the species you buy, before you buy it.  There are a decent number of herbivoric type Africans out there.  Noone can say yes or no at this point without knowing the species.  I have given bloodworms in my community tanks where there are herbivores in there, but in your case, if this is the only fish, if it is a herbivore, it won't touch this stuff and then will sit in your tank and decay, so if you really can't id your species, post a pic before I'd say feed bloodworms.

I can say this though.  Almost every African out there will take very well to a Spiralina coated flake food.  You really can't go wrong with that.

LOL people can down it all they wish, however, they have 0 factual information to contradict anything I just posted.   Being an African cichlid breeder of over six different species, I'd sure like to see the Einstein that doesn't agree try to post factual information that's different LMAO

Again, unless someone knows what species you have, if this is a herbivoric fish, you are not doing it any good feeding it bloodworms.  You're only going to pollute your tank with a pile of food it won't eat.
