I have a amana refrig that has freezer on bottom, top only cold when bottom is open?

Well, the top (fridge) is warm, and it will only blow cold air into it when the freezer is partially open. If the freezer door is closed, the air stops blowing to the top.

WHAT??? EXPLAIN THAT PLEASE!

It's frosted up.You will have to empty the contents in an ice chest,unplug it,and leave the doors open over night( around 10 hrs).By morning when plugged back in you will have an even temp.
