I have a baby budgie(parakeet) that was born friday,18 2008 does anybody know if i can hold it yet?

i wondering if i hold it the mother bird will kill it or something so am i allow to touch it now being 7 days born. i mean the eyes are now open and hes starting to grow hairs and he could stand by itself

you shouldn't hold him. I think you should just get him use to your hand. he is very young you should have no problem taming him. just put your hand in and let him get use to it. when he old enough he should be tamed cause you were taming him at a young age. try getting him on your finger

w9 ill its a little bigger, im an orthinologist so believe me, leave it alone if it looks sick bring it to a brid doc.
