I know what my li'l guy eats, it's just, he seems disinterested in the ants i give him.

Also, I'm worried he's too little to eat crickets/ grasshoppers.

Does anyone have any info on what they eat not listed here?

  1. if you know he eats and he does really eat, then dont worry, hes fine.

  2. Have you  tried house flies?

I used to catch them off my window in paper cups, then cover the paper cup with the house fly or two with a napkin and put the cup in the freezer for about 20 minutes, just enough to stop them without killing them.

Then I would put the frozen flies in the cage with my anole lizard. He would watch, interested, as the flies thawed off and started moving again. Just when they were ready to fly, he would catch them and eat them.

Give little guy a few days to adjust, then try feeding again.
