I have a baby orb and the pump has become extremely noisy. Any ideas?

The pump is extremely noisy no matter what I do. Placing it on a soft or evevated surface does not help. My husband opened up the pump and the metal is vibrating against the plastic. He place a soft disc between the two and it's still extremely loud. He also tried to tighten a couple of screws and that just restricted the bubble flow. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I used to have an orb fish tank too, but the pump was ok. If you can, take it back to the shop. If u dont have the recept, then you can just buy a new pump and hook it up to the air tube. They are about £10-20.

The same happened to my 30litre orb fish tank, so i went and brought a new pump. Now its fine.

change the rubber part its called a diaphragm and it will go silent when its changed go to the shop u bought the tank from and they will be anle to get u one
