  1. All chameleons need very specialised care. They are very sensitive and vulnerable to their surroundings.

Read up as much as you possibly can either on the internet or even better get a book you can refer to whenever you need it.

Get the habitat ready first, several days before the chameleon comes home preferably so the humidity is up and you know everything has settled.

When your chameleon moves in do not put food in with him straight away as he will need to settle in - 24 to 48 hours should do.

Ask as many questions as you can from wherever you are getting it from

  2. First of all make sure you set up the area that you are going to house it in. Make sure you have all the required supplies that a veiled chameleon needs. Once it arrives let it get used to its surroundings and dont handle it just yet. Id wait a few weeks. As for the feedings I dont know what they eat exactly. I would go to like a petco or petsmart and ask the reptile person or the manager there. or ask the person you got it from what they eat. Especially if its a baby it probably will have some special care instructions for feeding and housing. Look it up on the website like ask jeeves.com or google it.
