I have a backstabbing friend.?

So I have been in love with this girl since I first saw her in 3rd grade (I'm in 9th) and I the first person I ever told (last week) was my best friend Brandon and the next day he was going out with her. I have never told her I liked her, but he shouldn't have done that. What can I do. I am so depressed, and pissed off.

I am really sorry I should have said that he was my ex-best friend.

Tell him we are not friends anymore. I know what you are going thru a best friend would not do that.

omg forget him. hes not worth it. hes probably just jealous because you have found someone you really like. maybe he likes her. but hes jealous and just so beneath you.

Forget him completely. I had an uber backstabbing friend in HS who really did me dirty. I kept forgiving her and she kept s******g me over and over for the next couple of years. People like that should be ignored, dont waste anymore energy on them cus they're not worth it. Trust me.

Firstly, being p*ssed off and depressed is not going to help you anyhow.  You need to understand that you can have more than one good friend.  And that there are PLENTY of other girls out there.  Whenever things don't work out with girls, just remember that LOVE is a two-way thing, if you aren't getting any in return then it aint love.

So ditch the friend.  IF he does apologise, accept it.  You'll be the better person.
