  1. I would strongly suggest calling a game warden or animal control before you take it into your own hands. Please don't kill the bear, there are many other options to deal with him. Not only could you get seriously hurt if it goes wrong, but it's unlawful. They can tranquilize it and relocate it.

  2. yea!  Shoot it!

no seriously, just call animal control or something. haha

But hey, buy a gun anyway, just incase something like this happens and needs to be dealt with immediately.    Like, if you wake up and your arm is in its mouth.

  3. You cannot just go around killing wildlife.  Contact your local wildlife authorities for a legal solution.

  4. You know they kill a 2000 pound cow with a 22 caliper bullet.  It is not the gun nor the size of the gun that matters.  It is the skill of the person using the gun.  I could walk up to that bear with my 22 and put a bullet between its eyes.  It would probably drop there on the spot.  So, if you are sure you want to do this, get a decent gun, then learn to use the gun, then learn to be accurate.

In a lot places grizzly bears that cause serious problems can be handled by law enforcement or game wardens.  So maybe you ought to try that first.
