I take exceptional care for him. Just wondering if he will ever be a big beardy.

  1. Adult bearded dragons average 15 to 24 inches in length, while hatchlings are between 3 to 4 inches at birth. Young dragons grow fast and are sexually mature by one year of age. Juvenile beardeds usually start showing their coloration by two months of age.

  2. Probabley. They normally grow 2ft. long.

  3. I would imagine so.  My boyfriend had a beardy that is over 10 years old & is maybe a foot & a half long (I havent measured it or anything, but its long)

  4. I'd say he still has at least 2-4 inches left to grow.  They will keep growing in length right up until a year and a half, so he still has plenty of time.

  5. Only? well, depends on the gender, because if your dragon is a male, then he may grow even bigger, to maybe a foot and half long. females may end up around a foot or so long. Their final length also depends on how well they are fed, especially when they are growing. Like people, if they don't get enough nutrients and calories when they are growing, their growth would be stunted. This doesn't seem to be a problem with you though. I would say that he may still have another 3 months or so before your dragon may stop growing.
