  1. You should hire me because I am more than 100% sure I can handle this job with the experience I bring you and be an asset to this company...

  2. Because I need the job was always my answer.

  3. Think of yourself as the product. It will make it easier to 'sell' yourself.

Try this or part of it. Just insert your areas of expertise in it and you will hit a home run!

"I'm a good fit for the position.I have what it takes to solve problems and do the job.My high energy and quick learning style enable me to hit the ground and size up problems rapidly. My colleagues would tell you I'm a team player who maintains a positive attitude and outlook. I have the ability to stay focused in stressful situations and can be counted on when the going gets tough. I'm confident I would be a great addition to your team.I have what it takes to fill the requirements of this job - solve customer problems using my excellent customer service skills.I will be an asset to your company.I look forward to being a part of your team."

Make sure that you send a thank you for the interview email or letter. It is very appreciated and they will remember you first when considering other applicants!

  4. Think of money. What makes the employer money. Saying "I'm good looking" won't help your employer. Even saying "I've wanted to work with your company for a long time", that won't make them money either.

Here's what they want to hear. "I'm reliable, hard worker, and I work well with others"

If they ask you "What is your weaknesses"(Any good interviewer will ask you this), simply say (if this is true) "I don't have enough experience, BUT, I'm a fast learner". This question is a trap most people fall into. They start saying stuff like "I have a hard time waking up", that's a set up.

Write down on a piece of paper your strengths, all of them, even the minuscule ones. Make sure you remember them, because they WILL ask "What are your strengths".

  5. Anticipate the questions and have prepared answers.

  6. "Because I am capable, a fast learner, and won't let you down."

But don't say those words unless you mean them.

    Best Wishes And Good Luck

  7. "Because you need me."

  8. In answering this question, it's o.k. to "toot your own horn" or, in other words to brag a bit.  The people hiring you obviously want to know what qualities, abilities, experience you have that will contribute to their company.  Also don't be afraid to bring in strong feelings that have guided you in your profession choice.  (example: "I love teaching and the satisfaction it brings"  or "I find great pleasure in working with groups", etc.)  Again, think about your qualities, abilities, and past experience that could relate in any way to the place where you are applying.  The bottom line is why should they hire you?

  9. My answer to that question would be "Because I am a unique individual, who would bring hard work, intelligence and energy to the positionj".  Then, or even now, I would stop thinking of tomorrow and start concentrating on the present moment.   Worrying about what MAY happen tomorrow, always brings us concern and fear, and we miss that precious moment.  If you get the job, it will be the path you should take, if you do NOT get the job, you will be led to something more interesting and more acceptable to you.  I have found in my life, this is always the way it turns out, for the better.  Good luck.  Walk in there tall and straight, with confidence and a positive attitude, and if they appreciate your kind of personality, they will hire you.  If they do not hire you, look at it as a WOW!  There must be something better out there for me.
