I have a big problem when i play chess on line it told me version conflict of the client in your cache ?????

where i get new version & how install it???????? plz help me

When it happend to me, i was told to go to my internet options and delete my browser.  Did that and didnt work.  However, when all deleted all, it worked and I havent had that problem since! Hope it works!!

This error was caused by the latest version of the Flash

player that is Adobe flash (the software used by yahoo games) version 9,0,115,0 and above versions.

Hence clearing your will not help.

I don't recommend it but if you desperately want to play yahoo games then you will have to uninstall version 9 which is a newer version and install an old version of adobe flash like version 7.

Caution regarding installing an old version of Adobe flash is that some websites which use newer version will not work on it.

Yahoo team is working on it at the moment but i cant see any results in near future.

My advice would be to play yahoo games in java (old yahoo games but still available) till the problem is resolved.

Another solution is to install a different browser with in addition to your default browser and install an older version of flash on it.

Normal ways of clearing cache( deleting browser history, temp files, cookies) does not remove older outdated game demos

Click on  Start button, ,Search, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo for latest version of yahoo chess.

I am having the same problem, and cannot come up with a viable solution. The steps Yahoo says to execute do not solve the conflict.

That seems to be happening to quite a few people since Yahoo upgraded a few weeks ago.  Many people have been asking this question, and one poster gives a very good answer.  Here are a couple of links to similar questions with answers that may help you.  Best of luck with it.
