Question:

I have a black capped chickadee that keeps running into my windows. Any suggestions?

It's not like its a couple birds running into my windows every once in a while...no this is 1 bird that KEEPS running into my windows...like...day after day! What should i do?

You need to make your windows less reflective..either the bird thinks your windows are an extension of the outdoors, or it thinks it's own reflection is another  bird invading it's territory.  Draw shades, or curtains, place decals on windows, etc.  Here are more tips to get this behavior to stop:

  3. try putting up a bird house and a bird feeder   and maybe like put window stickers that you like on them so the bird at least can have the chance to know its not an open space
