Question:

I have a black cloud in my pool. its not algae thou. it breaks up easily, but I can't get it to dissolve.

I added algaecide on saturday, then a scale/metal remover as the water became extremely milky murky, then added a product to clump. these products were not added all at once mind you, they were added as directed..anyway, now I have this black cloud in my pool. its a gas of some sort I'm assuming, but I need help to get it out...anyone with any suggestions please respond..

  1. Its obviously not soluble in water.  It seems to be a suspension. It could be oil if the seal on the filter pump failed. If it is near the surface Try vacuuming it off the top with a wet dry vacuum, and check the pump motor.
