I'm using the USB that came with it but I have no clue where the original box and whatnot are. I haven't backed it up in a while and I'm running a 4.2 version.

  1. install the drivers, and use the media manager, and get a micro sd

  2. Sarah,

    1. Make sure you have Desktop Manager installed. This is the software that came on the CD with your blackberry.

    2. If it is installed, make sure its running before you plug in your blackberry.

    3. Go to Connection Settings on the desktop manager and make sure USB is selected.

    4. If the above fail or you don't have the desktop manager installed, go to blackberry.com and download desktop manager version 4.3 and install, then reboot without your BB being plugged in.

    5. If that still doesn't get it connected, try another USB cable. The BB cable is a generic cable. If you have any other electronics that connect to your PC, they probably use the same cable. (I.E. your camera, mp3 player, etc)

  3. you need to install the blackberry cd that comes with the original box.

in order to hook it up to your computer, if you have the software, the new 4.3 is out.

  4. Try plugging in your blackberry and going to my computer and see if it recognizes it there. If it does open up the drive and the pictures folder. Copy and pasty pictures in there.
