  1. Have you tested the water?  What's the alkaline level and the chlorine readings?

    Are they within the correct levels?

    I'll bet the chlorine is still extremely high from the 'shock'.

    Keep the filter/pump on over the next 24 hours to circulate the water and retest tomorrow. I'll bet it clears up by then.
