I have a blue and white 2-pin cord coming from my compaq 300w power supply, what is it for?

It is plugged into my motherboard. I want to buy a better one but they do not have that blue and white cord.

  1. If it's not hooked up I wouldnt worry about it. If I remember right Intel motherboards use one type of plug and AMD use a different type.
