How much is it worth? Sorry but champagne does not improve with age like fine wines. Champagnes are made to be enjoyed soon after being bottled or up to one year. After that the cork could dry out and you will lose the gas that makes it bubble. You will have a nice still wine but nothing like it should have been. Did the bottle stay upright or on its side do you know? If upright you may have a nice vinegar for your salads....

If it costs a grand to buy a bottle now, I would think your bottle should be about 4 to 6 times as much. Of course, that depends on the condition it is in.

I'd contact a winery and ask.

I am not a wine expert, but I would suggest you try googling it, or you could call a winery. I would call 2 or 3 different ones to be sure you get accurate information. Good luck with this.
