I have a boy guinea pig, and we just got a boy from the petstore: its actually a girl, and she isnt eating.?

She wont eat anything and shes very afraid, also my boy guinea pig was trying to hump her, any advice? They have a huge cage...

but your girl can have babies that why she isnt acting normal or th boy is making her scared or you are

Pet store pets are often sold sick and missexed but same s*x guinea pigs hump each other for dominance.

Return her to the store. Say she's a girl not a boy and demand your money back. Especially if she's sick and you bought her that way, its not your problem. You can't leave the boy and girl in the same cage or the girl will definitely get pregnant, if she isn't already. Good luck.

Take the girl back!

If she's not eating, she may be sick; but also, I'm sure you don't want babies. Take the female back, explain their mistake and her not eating, and then MAYBE get a boy if you're willing to do a split cage.

What do you mean by huge? If you mean a large pet store cage, it's not big enough. Period.

Seperate the two RIGHT NOW. They will breed, and there are enough homeless pigs as it is. She's afraid because she's in a new place, it's like that for every new animal. PLEASE seperate them, you don't want a pregnant Guinea Pig. Take her back as soon as you can, and make sure your male can't get near her until you do.
