Okay I have a male mouse (Stik) and he's about 10 months old, and I got him from a friend that breeds mice, He is very active and has never shown any signs of aggresion but I am scared to get him a friend, I cannot get him a brother or sister becuase my friend who bred the mices house burned down so really Stik has nio family anymore, I do not want any babies so no female mice, What should I do? Get him another male mouse to play with? I put a mirror behind his cage so he might make friends with his reflection but that doenst help, should I get him a friend so he doesn't get lonely or have I had him too long alone?

  1. you should try and introduce another male mouse. It could be a baby so that Stik will 'father' it. Try introducing them by putting 2 cages next to each other if you are unsure of how Stik will react.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Don't get a male, as they can fight. You can always get a de-sexed female, that's what I did.

  3. Im not sure where you live, but if you have a petsmart or petco anywhere near you take the mouse into the petco and pick a mouse out from the store and just kinda see how the react around eachother.
