  1. If you are American, you don't need him to sponsor you for a visa to Korea.  You will receive your visa when you get to the airport.


  2. sponser he can either mean he will let u stay at his house and he will take care of you or he can mean that he is going to sponser your visa which will make it easier for u to get a visa and get into korea faster.
