I have a brand new under-wire strapless bra, that I am wearing for my wedding next month, and I was wondering?

if I wash it prior to the wedding, will it lose its shape? The reason I want to wash it, is because it's kinda itchy and I don't wanna be scratching during the ceremony..lol

I have also never owned a strapless bra before, I want to be sure.

Thx =)

  1. I would return it, and go get a better one. GO to Victoria secret and get a better one that will not itch you and probably fit and feel better and you can use again and again. they last longer than cheap ones!

  2. If you are going to replace it, bear in mind that if it has lace that might be the cause of itching, I find that lace drives me bonkers. However washing it will likely remove the irritation, so this advice is probably superfluous.

  3. Wash it by hand and dry it flat.

    You should wear it for at least 1-2 days, all day, before your wedding to see it if fits, stays up, doesn't pinch, and is comfortable.

  4. If you gently hand wash it it should be fine, leave it on a clothes airer to drip dry.

  5. hand wash it then set it out to dry...congrats!

  6. hand wash, reshape, and layout to dry

  7. hand wash only with suitable detergent

  8. Wash it on the gentle cycle, don't dry it.  Should be fine.

  9. Wear it a couple of times before you wash it so that it adjusts a bit to your body and so that you can get used to how it feels.  Wash it in warm water using a mild soap or detergent.  Make sure to rinse it thorougly.  Hang it up to air dry.

  10. it will be fine as long as you either wash it by hand, or if you wash it in the machine put it on the 'gentle cycle'. then you'll be all set.

  11. Wash on the gentle cycle (or hand wash) and let air dry.  It will be just perfect!
