  1. Here are the top ten golf catalogs ranked by sales...contact some of them with your idea...

    Golfsmith

    Edwin Watts

    Golfworks Maltby

    Golf Components

    Dynacraft

    Herrington

    The Women's Golf Co.

    PGA Tour Stop

    Golf Haus

    Heritage Golf Co

  2. go to a local golf pro he can help you make sure you get a patented on it

  3. Just keep in mind that 99% of US patents end up being unprofitable. And no matter what, you're going to end up spending thousands of dollars trying to get it onto the market if you're really serious. No matter what anyone on here tells you, I'd bet dollars to donuts that none of them REALLY know what it takes to get a product on the market. It's a long and expensive process that drives many great minds with great ideas into bankruptcy.

BTW, whatever you do, do NOT call those inventor hotlines. You need to find a REAL patent attorney to help you through the process.

  4. well i woulda said go on fore inventores only on the golf channel but u said u dont wanna go on the golf channel so......

  5. You will have to make sure you didn't violate any patents first.  You will need a lawyer and then you can proceed.

You will first start with test marketing.  If you find there is a need for it then you will have to create a marketing package for it. Branding is most important.  If you cant distinguish your brand for other then its over.  The largest mistake in for inventors is that everyone thinks they have a good product and that's all they need.  Wrong!  Branding is.

After you have cleared all of this its time for you to move into the market.  Try local retailers first and then upward.  There are a lot or PR firms that are willing to take on your project but they will be asking for a cut.  They will assemble a focus group to evaluate your product before they move forward.

Either way you have a long road ahead of you.  Don't quit your job and don't blow your savings just because YOU feel you have a good idea.

  6. yes and no

you could go to the company and talk to the manager about but there is a high chance they wont sell it unless u get a ptent and they see it really working

your best bet is to put it on an infomercial or something on tv to sell it
