I have a british coin that says 2 pence do anybody know how much it is worth in american money?

Its out of use, but not long enough to develop value yet. Sometimes a coin is minted in limited quantity and with special design - such as animals or famous individual, event. These may become valuable over time because of demand from public or private collectors. You can keep the coin you have and pass it on to your kids someday, and perhaps it may worth something then.
