I have a business power point presentation due on opening a convenience store.?

does anyone have any ideas I can use for the importance of having a market?

Just pulling this out of my head, but I would think that it is important for a convenience store to be located in an area with a good bit of traffic because they sell a lot of low price items.  Their profits are going to be small for each item that they sell, so they need to sell a lot to a lot of people to spread out their costs of doing business.  If the store sells gas, you might think of that as having high profit, but the c-store actually makes a few cents on the dollar for the sale.
