Someone said that I get a discount on a day pass for the Highway 17 Express bus if I show my monthly pass. Is this true?

  1. I know you can ride free with an Amtrak ticket if issued for travel to Santa Cruz directly and have heard of discounts with Cal train and ACE tickets. My best understanding is that you will still have to pay the Santa Cruz Metro portion of the fare of about $2. The same policy is evident with the Monterrey /Salinas transit route 55 between San Jose & Monterrey.
