  1. If you go the card reader route I believe your camera uses the XD card.

  2. HI Danibear,

Truly.... if you are going to have to go looking for a cord and spend money buying one.... you might as well just get a card reader.   Every one is using them now and they have gone down in price big time.  I found one for my friend at Big Lots about 8 months ago for $12.00 but not saying they have them now...  just saying you can find the reader for as much maybe less than you would have to spend for a cord.  Try Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Target, K-Mart, Big Lots, or any electronic store.

Now, not only is this reader going to help you with loading your pictures to the computer... it will save on your camera's batteries and when you change over to another camera... you can just use that reader.  Most people even use the reader IF they have the cord.  It is just more convenient and easier to do.

    Thanks for reading.  :))

  3. Buy a card reader instead   You put your memory card into the card reader and then plug it into a USB port on your computer.   That way you don't need to use your camera and will save a lot on the batteries.  Card readers cost only about $10, and can be found at most stores that sell digital cameras.
