  1. >> I financed a car in my name for my sister

and she has failed to pay on time for the first three payment which she is behind. I want the car back can I take it from her?

The car is legally yours.  But ethically she's been paying it and it is ethically hers.  You can probably take it from her (legally) but she and you will hate each other for the rest of your lives.

Work it out.  When you financed the car for her, it meant that you will HELP her not take her car away.

    Good Luck...

  2. If you do not want to take the car from your sister (you would end up with a car and a payment) you could make the payments on time and have your sister pay you.

This would save your credit and have your sister responsible to you for the payment.

  3. yes you can its under your name and you can just tell your sister that its messing up your credit and its really looking bad on your part.

  4. If the title is in your name, it's your car and you can do as you please.  However, doing so will cause a rift between you and your sister.

If you mean you co-signed for her, in that case all you are responsible for is making the payment if she doesn't.

  5. yes you can take the car back from here if she is failing to make the payments on time is effected your credit and not hers . legally the car is yours so you have the right to take it back to get the car current so it wont hurt you credit any further

  6. It depends on whether the care is titled in your name as well.  If so, yes...it's your car.  If not, and only the loan is in your name, you probably need to go to court to get a judgment against her in order to seize the property.
