  1. You should be if it's hooked up right.What kind of coax did you use?Your coax should be 18 feet long. RG58 should be used for a single antenna and RG59 for dual antenna's.Then the SWR needs to be set.Truckers usually operate on channel 17 and 19.


  2. you need an SWR meter to adjust the signal on your antenna.

  3. When installing a CB, you need a meter to set the antenna up correctly. This tells you when you are receiving the signals properly.
