  1. well...if you can complete that transfer (by going to chase.com) before the end of the business day you overdrew (11:59pm that same bus day) you wil not be charged at all. assuming that timing has passed...

    1st offense: 25$

    2nd: 32$

    3+:35$.

these fees are per item..so if you had three items go through that day then you just got #of offenseX3.....all of these assuming you don't have overdraft protection

if you do have odp...you will have noticed when you log into chase.com that transfer whether from checking or savings took place, in which case for the transfer you were charge a 10$ tranfer fee, once...whooo I hope you had odp or you got this in time to do the transfer!

when all else fails..do call the number on the back of your debit card, or go to an instore grocery-type chase bank (open 7 days a week) and ask...so much better to ask first and early then th suffer the consequences!

  2. You will likely be charged an overdraft fee on the account unless you have some type of overdraft protection. WIth overdraft protection you might still end up being charged an interest or finance charge if the bank moves that debt over to a credit card on file as this is typically how overdraft protection works in my experience. You could potentially avoid the finance charge by paying off the credit card right away when the bill comes. You can often transfer funds from savings to checking just by going online or to an ATM / Cash Machine.
