  1. Maybe because its very common and widespread after all .. so do all of the people who are 18 and over. And im talking from exerience lol

  2. Maybe because of your spelling???

  3. Because you were only twelve when you got it.

  4. It depends what you want to do with it.  Maybe you just need to sell the knowledge and skills you acquired during your degree better.

Make a list of skills you need for whatever job you're after; general ones like organisation, and specific ones for the job, and think of at least one different example for every skill that demonstartes you have that ability!

    Mucho luck!

  5. 'Perhaps you need to look into what it is you have studied, where it 'fits' within your area of employment. all to often we study  areas that are of interest to us but have no meaning in the world of employment.

Also, a degree in 'childhood and adolescence' is extremely broad.

I studied Developmental Life Span Psychology which encompassed conception to death and yet I have to constantly argue my abilities in this sphere.

Ask what it is you are in need of knowing, learning? If you think you have it already, use an acedemic argument to show you qualify.

Sometimes those who do not have the area of study are those who hire and fire?

Go forth and explore or flower/

  6. You should not expect your degree to open doors for you...it is a very unspecific degree o you will need to work hard to find an area that interests you and target them for vacanies. Do not feel you need to justify your course...It is your area of interest and will surely mean you have some specialist knowledge.

As a children's nurse, that degree would create an understanding of my clients. In wider fields, i guess you could work as a play worker, youth support worker, rehabilitation officer, UN worker, Youth Justice board team....There are so many areas for your...even more if you're creative.

    Good luck.
