For the past nine months or so, I have been having styes in my right eye non stop. I went to see my doctor and I was prescribed fucithalmic vicious eye drops. The doctor said that it helps immediately, from the first use. I went back to see her because the stye is not going away and than she said that I have a chronic stye and she referred me to a specialist but that appointment is in a private clinic and is only October 16th, so a little over two months ago. She told me to keep using the drops and to put a warm face cloth on my eye 4 times a day for 15 minutes and I do but it is not going away. And what are treatments that specialists can do to fix this problem. Any surgery or something to get rid of it ? And my stye is not located on top of the eye lid, it's in the lower corner of the eye

  1. A lot of people say either a gold ring.. (see above) or a cold Teabag.. strange as it may seem but it something to do with the Tannin..

also if ur in uk, try using GoldenEye Ointment, i use it for stye's all the time and within 2 or 3 days its gone.. i dont know if its much the same to fucithalmic ointment.. i have used fucithalmic before and told the doctor i was using GoldenEye Ointment and he told me to use it aswell as the Fucithalmic!

  2. Do you have a gold ring? Before you go to bed, rub the gold portion of the ring over the stye a few times. Sounds crazy, but I've done it and it seems to work.
